Part of our social responsibility is a focus on helping to educate, connect and inspire the local business community through our Business Academy, a unique entrepreneurial skills training programme. The Business Academy is a partnership between Louis Group and the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School. It combines the latest research and knowledge of Cambridge’s Executive Education programme with the Group’s “street savvy” gained over nine decades of successful business experience. Full of practical “take-home” value, the course is university endorsed and uses a highly interactive methodology called “Learning through Discovery” to ensure that there is a practical and dynamic outcome for every participant.

The digital high-tripod photo system utilised by Telescopictures ensures high quality, sophisticated images that enhance the marketing of a property according to the needs of our clients. Panoramic view options and controlled zoom functions guarantee eye-catching images with outstanding definition. The unique vantage point of this technology allows our professional photographers to focus on the most attractive and important features of any property from many angles. The system can also be used for a number of other applications apart from property. The possibilities are endless.

SCHLOSS HUBERTUSHÖHE

Schloss Hubertushöhe

Schloss Hubertushöhe, less than a sixty-minute drive from central Berlin in the heart of the Brandenburg Lake District, is idyllically situated amidst unspoilt woodland on the shores of the crystal-clear Storkow Lake. Its inclusion in Hideaways Hotels’ 100 Most Beautiful Hotels and Resorts in the World is confirmation that this cultural monument is indeed a world-class hotel. The Louis family acquired Schloss Hubertushöhe in 2008, adding the property to their collection of luxury boutique hotels and enabling them to simultaneously own the 2008 Best Boutique Hotel in South Africa and Germany. The hotel remains a prominent landmark on the social landscape of Berlin and was purchased in anticipation of catering to the exclusive clientele of Banque Louis as well as continuing its rich tradition of playing host to the wealthiest and most influential people in and around the Berlin area.

LOUIS VIGNES

Louis Vignes

Louis Vignes is the European label used to market the exceptional wines produced from the SylvanVale Vineyards in the historic Devon Valley. Situated in the heart of the Western Cape Winelands region of South Africa, these vineyards were first planted in the 1960s and surround the award-winning Devon Valley Hotel, which was acquired by the Louis family in 2003. The Family Reserve 2004 is the flagship wine produced by the Louis family’s vineyards. This outstanding Cape blend is matured in the finest French oak barrels for 12 months and then cellared for a further 30 months before being released. This wine is intended as a celebration of the Louis family, who have built their international business on Christian principles and family values over the past nine decades.

COMMUNITY SPONSORSHIP

Community Sponsorship

Louis Group sponsors a number of local events and activities. In the UK, our particular focus is on sponsoring opportunities with an educational or environmental element. These include the Stratford Music Festival and The Orchestra of the Swan, which have a strong emphasis on community involvement in the arts and feature some of the UK’s rising musical talent. The company is also involved at a local level by the sponsoring of select landscaping in Stratford-upon-Avon, which contributes towards the town’s success as a consistent winner of “Britain in Bloom” awards.
